A traditional daily costume from the Konya province. Middle-class urban style, worn at home, ca. 1900. The silk ensemble (‘gömlek’/shirt + ‘şalvar’/baggy trousers) is delicately embroidered with ‘gold’ metallic thread. (Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
