An old bracelet from Libya made with a machine press. It has the old Tripoli mark on it.

I am not sure when the machine presses showed up, but my guess is that it was in the late 19th or early 20th century, and I suspect that the presses were imported from Europe. The Istanbuli bracelets are meant to imitate a Turkish style and were sometimes gilded.
