  • Does anyone know the origin of these enamel beads? Thanks..

  • These beautiful beads are from Pakistan, probably Multan!
  • Thanks Akkie. They are very beautiful indeed!

  • Lovely beads, is it a necklace?

  • Marie, I strung them temporarily so that I could wear them! Still looking for the perfect project for them...

  • I have a strand of these beads as well they are so beautiful and I love you are wearing them!!2506000505?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • Wow! Yes, those are the same beads! Yours is a magnificent strand! Where did you acquire yours? and do you agree that they are Multan from Pakistan?

  • Yes the beads are from Pakistan Multan!

  • This type of Multan enamel bead has always interested me. They look so new and I don`t think the design, which I love, is a traditional one.

I have never seen any information that would indicate that this type of Multan enamel is still produced as is the flatter, duller and lapis-looking type.

I would love to hear of more information on this.

  • You might consider a project using lapis lazuli.  A good quality lapis will bring out the blue of your beautiful beads.  I have never seen a whole strand of these before.  They are really lovely.
