  • I am curious about the size of your children's bracelets. Because so often you see that people think small bracelets are made for children. So far I only found 2 pair that could only be for a child. One pair is from the Fayoum and has a diameter of 4 cm. And a pair of baby bracelets from Oman with only 2,9 cm.

  • The largest one is 5x5 cm diameter, the smallest one is 5x4,5 cm diameter.  They will never fit a Western women in my opinion, maybe a tiny Indian wrist.

  • That depends on the western woman's wrist, there are quite a few of woman (my daughter for instance and some of our female friends) who can wear your bracelets easily.

  • Marie-Ange,

I wear bracelets only on my left wrist, which is smaller than my right wrist.  I have a few Yemen bracelets in my personal jewelry collection, to be worn by me, that is.  They measure 5 cm inside diameter.  I am not a thin person.  Maybe I just don't work hard enough to have a strong wrist ;)

  • Ok thanks i had the impression they were too small to be worn by grown ups as they look so small, glad to hear some women will fit them!!  No Anna am sure you worked hard enough in your life!! ;)))

  • Thank you, Marie-Ange.  This type of silver bracelet from Yemen or North Africa or South Asia wears very well with even a dark tailored suit.  I have a couple of blue business-like outfits that I like to wear the highly ornamented hinged bracelets or the hollow silver cuff bracelets with.  Snazzy!
