Moroccan Filigree Khanjar

A wonderful filigree khanjar with ram's head hallmark. The blade is nice with sharpened edges.

  • It's not new.  The dark patina had really built-up, but still not sure on date as this was something that would not have been worn everyday.  The blade portion seems genuine enough; not the imitation blades found on khanjars made for export, and I've seen my share of those.

  • unusual khanjar, more known as koumia from the westerns.

    this full feligree work is new for me even the komplet handhold or gripp in silver is unusual to me.

    they are actualy worn as accessoires and not for dayly use.the silver was more for the contrast with the dark wood or rhino, sometimes together with gold, ivory,leather..

    this is actualy new for me in this form, i ll aske a friend who colects them
