  • Wow! This is really fantastic!!!
  • Thanks Eva, it did not have a proper back side so I made one and strung dark red wool over it to cover.

Was wearing it today and it is very comfertable.

  • It looks beautiful! I am surprised to see again and again that in countries, where women traditionally have almost no rights (Yemen, Afhanistan, e.g.) they seem to have the most beautiful ethnic jewellery. I wonder why this is so.. (just some of my thoughts..not important).
  • Yes you are right but don´t forget the women are in charge at home, they have a different role model than us.  Also I think the men enjoy their women to look pretty with jewelry and show their wealth.  It is just long time tradition and women will get more rights as we go on, they are organising in little groups as we speak.  This is just how I see it, can be wrong of course....
  • i recognize that necklace - how do you put it on? It looks lovely and comfortable at the same time, and you have kept the original cloth on the front. Sometimes I wonder what tales each piece could tell us.

  • Hi Becky, wanted you to see how it looks now, it just slips over my head, no I deceided not to restring the rest to keep it more original.  If you find the time to restring your loose elements let me have a look ok?

    M-A ;)
