What an amazing earring!!!!!!!! Quite heavy, I think. This is very special, Mustafa. Do all the figures at the end of the pendants have some kind of symbolic meaning?
Dear Mustafa; This earring is fantastic!!! Very special indeed - congratulations. Peter
Thank you Thelma and Peter. The main motifs that appear in most Libyan Jewellery as pendants are the 'Khams' ' hand or five' in Tripoli sometimes also called 'Khmesa' meaning small 'khamsa' and also the crescent. These are for good luck and for repelling evil and against jealousy. When engraving on silver also the fisah and the bird are vey common motifs as well.
