Central Moroccan mystery item

Would love some more info on this one. It seems to be from Fes or Meknes. It has traces of blue and green enamel. Possibly from a belt? It certainly has the faqarun shape.

The colourings certainly say meknes to me.

Spot on ladies. A mekness item it is. although ciuld come from neighbouring fes. a buckle it is but not a belt buckle rather a horse attachings(?) buckle. it would actually lie on horse's chest along with a couple more buckles
