Lovely central pendant. I would love to see a close up; it looks gilded as well as enameled.
I would like to call attention to the large beads higher up. Marie-Ange placed them in Turkye, I thought they were from Ethiopia and see here they are in Central Asia. Beautiful.
The beads on the necklace are reminiscent of the "marriage" necklace from Tadjikistan -- the one necklace that so many of us possess in so many variations, the central pendant looks like a Turkish treatment of an Uzbeki pendant -- or maybe an Uzbeki pendant. Very nice combo and, of course, I am very partial to the blue.
I think the large higher up silver beads on each side are likely to be turkmen in this combination of beads. Though it`s the first time I`ve seen them used in a marriage necklace of this type.
I find the pendant very interesting.
