Crescent-shape, gilt copper. With pink stones between the two blue beads. The rim is ornamented with globes and dangles. Dimensions: 40 x 23 mm each. (Ankara Ethnographic Museum).

  • Globes with spherical dangles are rarely seen in Anatolian jewelry.  I suspect influence from Yemen (which was Ottoman until 1918).  Can anyone corroborate (or contest)?
