I have had them for a long time. I bring them out and look at them, sometimes I share the look with others. Then the old Afghani man I bought them from died and I feel more free. He was a wonderful old man and suffered as a foreigner in Bangkok but always had beautiful things for me. They are little and worn with lots of old chips but they have come from the ground and I love them. They feel very old and I really would like to know more.
It is fantastic to know that the little individual beads may have been through many different generations during the past 2000 years.
