  • They are beautiful, especially the many Pendants at the bottom, Looks gorgeous!

  • nice purshassing Marie Ange, splendid pieces.

technicaly, i can say they are made from the same persone or in the same manufacture. if not, in the same area.

the silver sticks used are identic

  • Lovely purchase Marie-Ange.

I guess it is an original arrangement made a woman, and for me they make sensational head/Temple ornament

  • I was very lucky to buy them recently as online Omani jewelry is so scarse......

  • Great find Marie-Ange! What's that little box on one of them?

  • Preethi, the little pendant is a box and not original to the earrings, no idea how it was used, maybe a child's pendant?

  • Harald posted very similar pendants back in February and called them earrings. Here is the link:

The small box I believe is a hijab and has some incantation locked inside to protect the wearer

  • Referring to Jehan Rajab's book Silver Jewellery of Oman, She calls them pendants from the Dhofor region. I've seen other references referring to them in Arabic as hair ornaments. In Rajab's picture, they are indeed formed of the two parts, the top hoop and bottom triangular part. I hope that helps.
