As we got this Ethiopian Shirt as a present, I just wanted to Show it. The Ethiopian hairpins are here just an additional decoration....

@Betty: Thank you, it was a present from an Ethiopian guy at a cultural Festival to my husband.

@Thank you Chantal. As said, it was a present from an Ethiopian guy to my husband. Wanted to use it as Background since quite a while, but with our visitors from Mali, I forgot. They have left now,

.... it was wonderful to have them here, but I am now quite happy to get some free time again for my hobbies

I think the middle flowery part is a stylized Ethiopian coptic cross.
