  • This type of jewellery was very popular in the tourist destinations of Southern Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Zambia) in the 1980s.  It usually combined good quality silver with elephant or giraffe hair (taken from the tail).  It is still made today and sold by shops in hotels, safari destinations and other tourist attraction.  The motif used in the pendant is similar to what I have seen coming from this region.   Unfortunately I do not recognise the hallmark.  Hope this helps in someway to answering your question.  There are many online sellers of elephant/giraffe hair and silver jewellery, for example this shop based in Zimbabwe that is selling far simpler versions of pendants than your one, but the principle used is the same .. African Creative
