  • Very wonderful gathering.

  • These charms are so intriguing and beautiful.

  • The variety of these symbols is great!

  • verry beautiful and some are rar. i see some pieces that are older than 60-80 years.

they were worn as protection, specialy for the babys. they are called ayacha ( keeps alive) if we write about it and the bakground, it will take pages .

the same ones and the ones in the key form are part of traditionel ritual and natur healing called ( akhtil ) known frommfew people almost nothing writen about it. it is a combination of this pendants, long line and some prayers, old women use to practice it for a familly members when they are ill, specialy for the fiever and when they believe they had a evil eye.

  • Ait- this is very interesting informaton about the ayacha. Would the baby wear a single charm, or many?
  • chantal. there is 2 salamanders, 1 fish and some few scorpions ( as animals )

toya.  ayacha is actualy in the early months as a broch or just hanging on bed. later on earing on the left side in gold, silver or just a wool/cotton line

  • Thanks Ait Ouakli, your comments have revealed many informative and interesting things about these elements.

There is also a sheep, a hen, a camel, an octopus, a teapot, a lock, a sword, a gun, a hammer, a saw.......
