Strand of beads

A strand of beads, received this week from Asia. I've added some side views of some beads. Does anyone have more information concerning these types of beads?

    they are probably called Chevron, if I am not mistaken. But lets see what others say.

    yes, these are the ones recently made in India- more colourful but much more breakable than the original Venetian chevrons-
