  • Haven't seen that fibula before, Alaa. Approximately how old is it? It's very elegant!

  • So nice to see a Meknes fibula. Some of us on this site have collected the Meknes pendants which are similar, but seeing a fibula is a real treat.

  • I have uploaded a picture of the fibula which was likely made around a century ago, the enameling technique was eventually abandonned in all urban morocco and only survived in the southern berber areas as the last stage on the historical development of this technique in the country from medieval spain to 21th century Tiznit production!
