I was told these are Tunisian. They are very large scale and wonderful had not seen them before. They have good wear and age, great silver.

  • Yes typical tunisian earrings, they always come in very large sizes but pretty quite lightweight compared to the size

  • Hi, yes I thought it looked the same, never had seen this type before now. They are quite huge..Do you know where in Tunisia these are used? 

  • Mine is 13 x 7 cm so very big and just bit too heavy to wear as earring.  No idea what area they come from sorry.

  • this style is thought to come from the city of "GABES" in southern tunisia, but closely related earrings can be found in western Tunisia  and across the border in Algeria but they are entirely filgreed!!
