  • Very wearable, really. My mother was born in 1902, and when she was young jewelry of this kind was still quite fashionable in the Netherlands.

  • It probably was done as a Dutch export , so yes she could have conceivably worn or used something like this! As did also Nepalese , if you look at old photos, they used brooches like this with European style as well crafted in their own style but looking very much the same.
