Pair of old Indian marbled glass bangles

These are old bangles of marbled glass, veneered over a brown "tofee like" core.Sourced in either Delhi or Peshawar, late last century.I'm posting them as they resemble Chevrons, in colour at least.Enjoy.http://www.palmbeads.com.au/products/indian-marbled-glass-bangle

    i wonder if the external decoration is glass or "lac"?

    I'll have to check. I've never queried it, they've always been glass for me (but I could have been seduced by their "chevron-esque" colour !)
