just for info. it is not only bella and it is more used like a bookmarker, aktualy it the originaly use. timbouktou,djenne,mopti ther we find a lot and beautiful ones

Ait Ouakli, meanwhile I got one from Sarah with the leather bag to it! Thank you anyway! It is strange, I have been in these cities you mention (TImbuktu, Djenné, Mopti) several times, I never saw one... but I have one from Sarah now. I heard that it is also used as a bookmark, but I had my doubts. If you say so.........probably it is so!

eva lea. i know them more bookmark than pendentif or fixed on amulette and also in different designes

. for me they are jewels, bookmark or pendent. this one is verry nice
