Afghan Powder Flask.

A leather bound wooden Gun Powder Flask reinforced and repaired with copper and brass sheeting and studs.Found in Afghanistan but not neccessarily from there.Has anyone seen one like this?

    Nice! The form is like the North African powder flasks from Marocco, sometimes also studded.

    But your items decoration is different more haphazared.

    Thanks, it may be....

    I've found that where you find things isn't necessarily where they are from.

    Unravelling their origins, meanings and travels make them all the more intriguing.

    I love this flask it has such a Medieval feel.
