  • Looks nice. Would love to know more...

  • Dear Chantal ..we have to wait until some member knows what it is …..i didn't buy..and it was so reasonable price…maybe i'll get today … what intrigued me was the length …..kisses….

  • I go in two directions for this - Indian or Mexican. Mexican wedding necklaces can be really long. But I reckon it feels more Indian. Obviously just guessing. I`ve just checked out the stash of Indian beads I have and none of them look like the ones pictured.

Do the scallop and shell beads connect it to Roman Catholic pilgrimages? South America? Santiago?

  • Frankie ..i think is made up piece…the little bells at the very end ..look indian …the rest look afghani...

when i go back to the seller ..i'll check if it is silver !! but very impressive and beautifully made and thought composed…maybe longer then 4 feet…it was soo long ..remember folding about 5 times as 5 necklaces regular length !!!

    Kisses

  • The two cylindrical beads (right and left) look similar to a necklace I have ( a mish mash) with an Afghan coin...Certainly a rare artifact to be bought if the price is right...
