Tunisian cone pendant with dangles

A lovely smooth and tactile cone pendant from Tunisia. Would this have been worn as one pendant or as a pair. Does anyone know how it would have been worn?

Yes, thanks Edith, you could be right, I think also that the dangles were probably originally on long rihana chains too.

Hi Cordelia, I am not completely sure, but this item strikes me as Libyan rather than Tunisian. Having said this, it is true that Libya and Tunisia have a shared history and frequent cultural contact. My guess is that this is a fragment from a temporal that would have been hung on either side of the head.
