Over the years I have collected many silver jewelry and carvings that I thought were interesting. This necklace is one of them . I showed to a friend who thinks it is a genuine old Tibetan necklace. what I would like to know if any one of you nice folks can tell me what the beads are made of ( not the green turquoise ones ) . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Varouj. Welcome to the Forum! I hope you find some answers to your questions. This is a very beautiful old necklace and quite unusual. I think it could be Tibetan as you suggest. It is difficult to really see the stones you are asking about. The inset in the pendant seems to be a natural substance like tortoise shell. But maybe a bead expert could give you more answers.
