Identification of bib necklace

Hi I wonder if anyone could help, I’ve recently tested this piece thinking it was silver but it tests as a high carat gold? It had markings on the necklace which I cannot make out, does anyone know anything about this particular type of jewellery

    Hi Jacqui, I would say that this is Indian and fairly contemporary. Those twists on the dangles are very Indian as well as the general design. Amazing that it is gold! Ive seen similar in silver and metal. I will get some other opinions though. Yes, all other opinions say India. It seems a very common style and often in low metals so I am very surprised it tests as gold. Are you sure about this?
