Okay, so I take it I can only post one picture per comment/reply? That's going to take a while...
It's taken me a bit to get these pics. uploaded and sent to you. Here are the beads that are purportedly to have come out of the Boer war. I will ask my 95 year old Mum again, just as to their provenance. The earrings I got in a second hand store a few years ago. They are quite heavy, and if not solid silver, then may be a silver alloy of some sort. They have never gotten any verdigris on them. To anyone who might help me identify or give me any clues about any or all of these, I would be very grateful. Thank you, and I really enjoy this site.
