New book: The Hand in Morocco/La Main du Maroc

I want to share this information about a new book I purchased called The Hand in Morocco-Hamsa , Art, Symbol and Tradition. Written in French and English, this book has many photographs of old hamsas, with captions including the age and area of manufacture for each one. I have found it to be very informative and hope others will enjoy it too. I found mine on Amazon.  Somogy Editions d'Art, Malika Editions 2012

purchasing on this site

The ethnic jewels site is not a shop, some pieces may be for sale, and generally will say this with the picture.

If a piece is not marked as for sale it is likely to be a part of someones collection S x
