Old fibula from Meknes, Morocco.

A very rare type echoing the more common "tazra" pendant with glass cabochons and a patinated champlevé enamel. The fibula does not lie flat on a surface but is rather convex!

Hi, thank you for your message. I had replied with a real long message, talking and talking about Mali and my experience.. there.. and then it made "shwupps" and all disappeared. I don't know why this always happens to me on this website. I am sorry, I need now a break and will answer tomorrow. I wrote a lot, and it is all gone.... Sorry, I will try tomorrow, when I am fresh and full of energy... With best regards, Eva
