  • Dear Angelo, it wasn't until I used the 'View Full Size' button that I realised the excellence of the granulation particularly of the main plate. Yemenite work at its best. Your are very lucky to find it.

  • Wow what a striking necklace. Perfectly strung.

  • A perfect fine necklace. I have a similar in my collection but mixed with corals. With kind regards. Peter

  •  i saw yours ..Peter …i wonder if the corals were taking out or came this way …but the proportions are right…i compared yours with mine …best

  • Dear Angelo; I believe that both are originals and unique in their own way. Peter

  • Angelo, this is a very beautiful and original necklace which looks like it also is on the original stringing.  It is gorgeous and I love the very fine granulation and hand made silver beads.  Marjorie Ransom writes that the smooth silver beads were a specialty that the Wasabi silversmiths were famous for, and that these necklaces were worn every day(!!)

  • Very nice = I like the reposeful balance of the composition greatly, with which the decoration is harmoniously combined. A fine piece!

  • Exceptionally nice. A truly excellent, extremely well made piece.  But more even than the great quality of the work I admire the beauty of this! I like the reposeful balance of the composition greatly, with which the decoration is harmoniously combined. Totally successful. I feel envious!

  • Thanx Joost…don't feel envious…your collection and the book is breathtaking !!!;-)

  • Thanks for that comment, Angelo. Do I infer from this that you actually own a copy of  Truus's book? I feel a bit sheepish, in that case, as in commenting on your New Guinea bracelet I recommended it to you!
