  • Wow, what a treasure, Ait! Congratulations. Lovely pieces all of them.

Some are new to me: I have never seen a necklace such as the one with the large hoops and khamsas before. It has a very "modern" look to it. I personally also love the beaded necklace.

Are the two big hoops in the right hand corner earrings or bracelets? I recently saw a single one sold as a bracelet.

  • 2506028225?profile=originalThe one on the far right reminds me of this necklace that I own. Interesting to another similar one.

  • they are made out of old elements used to be part of temple ornaments or headresses.

These are small in tunisia while in libya these round elements are huuuge!

Again the recycling habit of tunisian merchants is very showy here, using old elementsto make wearable and comfy jewels.....i must say with great taste and balance!

  • akkie. they are bracelets.i m posting fotos from one , the other is in the bath, needs a clean :-)

the large rounds, we can find them as temporal, pectoral, headdress, chaine between fibulas and earings. for me, they are sold as a ready jewels or elements to work with.

the pieces are all handsigned. 4 from the same smith of workshop, one is different
