classic venetian chevrons seen end on show the zigzag or star pattern has been built up with layers of liquid glass giving smooth continuous edges to the pattern lines visible when the glass tube is pulled or stretched while semi-molten. even if distorted, the pattern looks sort of fluid.
indian chevron lookalikes are constructed in a different way without the star mould- each zigzag is made not with the assistance of a shaped mould, but with bundles of strips placed around the central core, then all pulled out.
it shows looking endwise as the pattern lines having rather jagged edges. on your bead it can also be seen from the side view where the bead has the edges ground away to show the pattern and you can see that the inner row of blue zigzags are not a continuous blue line.
i think the bead on the right may well be a hebron bead, but my knowledge about the filigree metal globes is less certain- they may be yemeni craftsmanship or turkish, bedouin, or moroccan...?

I have forgotten how to identify Indian chevrons from Venetian. please tell me again.
The black bead on the right next to the front chevron, is that a black Hebron? and the large silver beads on left and right are from?
nice rich mix!
the largest chevron bead at the front is not so old as the other beads but recently made in India.
