  • Very beautiful skhab,it is a must have in weddings.

Is the ceramic yours ?  Looks from Algiers casbah

    I like it a lot

  • Fabulous! Amazing filigree work which is set off beautifully against the dark skhab beads. Do you know how old it is approximately?

  •  @ Betty. Thanks. It is a contemporary necklace.

@ Ait Ouakli. Thanks . Yes ceramic tiles are mine. I know Algiers Casbah well. Nice old ceramic tiles at Musée du Bardo in Algiers also.

  • thank you marie jose are they from casbah or reproduced ? they look actualy geuine. the blu one is " kronfel " sample giroflée in french, stock in english  ??

  • yes musee du bardot, there is also beautiful samples in musée de l artisanat in the basse casbah. actualy all the casbah and constructions arround have beautiful old pieces, umtil 750 years old. all the old mosques have amazing ones

  •  Ait Ouakli, the tiles are all genuine , not from the Casbah. I add two pictures from Algiers.

  • Love those scented beads!  Wonderful combination with silver. Beauty!

  • I thought "kronfel" was clove in North African dialect.

  • I have a couple of these necklaces -- the fragrance beads, not the filigree. Are the filigree beads contemporary as well?

  • Ethni embellissements: yes kronfel is clove,my translation was bad. If you google kronfel, you will get some ceramic like the maries one
