Silver anklets with flowing floral chasing, Yemen

A pair of silver anklets with flowing floral chasing. I acquired these out of an auction of jewelry from Yemen. I think the screws are replacements as they barely fit. I also wear them as upper arm bracelets. They weigh about 100 grams each. Does anyone know what the double-O design on the closure element is?

Very attractive. I love the floral pattern. Unfortunately I cannot help with the double-o on the closure. I have never seen it before...
