Thank you Thelma and Alaa. I also thought they were nicer than the the standard bone sticks. I think they are from an older collection (also bought some Venetian feather beads from the same seller who was not sure what to make of these bone pieces :))
Dear Betty, I have placed two photos of the old bones amulets on their beaded chains. Jut read my comments. The old bone are rather thin, this to make sure the sound is a sharp click. I have seen new one on sale but they look rather thick. So that is something for you to compare to. The eyes on your amulets are nice and deeply edged in. Gr. Ingrid.

At the moment I am wearing them of a long string together with a brass wedding ring which looks nice even though it is not the traditional way. And yes, they click like mad - I can't wear them at work and get "complaints" about the noise at home :)
I still have a few eye beads and recently found a string of Venetian feather beads for a very good price, so I might try to string them in the traditional way ...
Betty, now that you are talking about a brass ring, that can very well be. I do remember one which did have a bronze ring on it as well. Be easy on the people around you. They maybe good spirits. Gr. Ingrid
