Moroccan or Yemen Coral?

My mother-in-law gifted these to me for stringing a piece for her. I have been trying to research their point of origin but can't seem to pinpoint where they came from. My guess is either Morocco or Yemen. She had gotten them over 30 years ago there was a tag on them that said $1,200. She never touched them again. They went in a dark bag since she purchased them. Does anyone have info on this type of old coral? location, value, desirability? 196 gm
