Actually, I often like to see a chip in an amber bead. It helps me to identify it as amber.

looks amber to me, marocan / china is not :-) it is from the Balcan as you know
the shape and colors look more african, the china prefer as already mentioned lighter ones and more direction round shape ( has to be thick )
