  PLease do post a close up of the hallmarks, everything cries out in them as rather coming from MEKNES or even SAFI/ESSAOUIRA, but then evrything is possible especially when it gets to refined items such as these

  Thank you very much, Alaa. Here you have a closer pic of the hallmark. Each bracelet has three identical ones. This is the one which seems more legible. The others are more faded.

  These are real beauties! I believe I saw a similar pair in the Quai Branly Museum. You are a lucky man to own such a pair. Congrats. Beautiful textile in the background, where is it from?

  Thank you very much Chantal and Betty. @Betty - The Background is an old Moroccan handwoven textile. I believe it was probably used as some sort of curtain (izar).

  very, very nice bracelets! Never seen such one in this quality! Congratulations!

  Are they, were they gilded?

  I confirm also that it is a round hallmark with the "fleur" (4 quadrangular points in the middle) from Marrakech (1318?) about 1900.
