There exist a vast variety of bracelets (mainly) made in this style. drawing on orientalist taste but with a definite european touch and deep rationalization, less archaism...almost art deco in parts.
Some of these pieces have clear freemason patterns and other have what i could call "pharaonic" iconography.
They do belong to a proper stylistic school clearly. It is however unclear if they were made by one person/workshop/in one place or was it a marketed through an obscure flash trend?
The Libyan/Italian connection is the most obvious solution but i don't rule out a production from other worshops/smiths, most likely the production ofpersons/students who followed on the footsteps of one master, for there seems to exist different levels of workmanship and refinement in these corpus of pieces.
Mysterious pieces and interesting to search their history
