this is a quantity of the old Czech moulded Kakamba type beads recently bought from an estate collection, (there are also 2 or 3 strands at the top of czech moulded cornelian-colour glass barrels and hexagons.)looking closely at the K beads you can easily see the mould seams that show the swirls are not continuous spirals.

not any more -we closed in 2001, but i still have a lot in storage, and since acquiring a large collection of african-traded beads last summer i will be selling privately, maybe online. at the moment my time is largely taken up with my mother aged 99 who is in a nearby nursing home -visiting twice daily. i now have rented studio/office space and hope for the time to begin sorting, cataloguing and pricing. i also aim to write another book and make my own personal "museum-quality" collection available for exhibition. in the meantime i sell each year at the annual bead fair of the Bead Society of Great Britain -you can join and read details if you click on the logo with the link on this page in the right hand column.

Thanks for the reply Stefany.

I live in Australia, but I will be in UK in June 2012, to see my 90 yr old mother, also in nursing home.

I collect/sell in Aus, and will find out when your bead fairs are on.

I would like to find some Akoso beads and green teal wound beads.
