  • Very charming necklace, Rabah. Congrats!

  • thank youBetty, yes a character full piece

  • A happy necklace, Ait. So many Persian coins. With Ottoman coins, I found that the date on the coin marked the beginning of the Sultan's reign rather than the date when the coin was minted ... a bit different from ours. I wonder if Persian coins follow the same principle.

  • thank ypu thelma, its nice indeed, this necklace found me and not me who found the necklace. i liked it the second i saw it. i dont know exactly about the dates, i know that is counted or the date engraved in some coins the way you wrote it,if its the same here, i cant tell you exactly. i ll do my researches

  • I live everything about this necklace.  Congratulations!  The two blue stones with dangles on the bottom are particularly charming.

  • Dear Rabah; the beads look great and really make this necklace - a beautiful piece. Regards. Peter
  • Interesting necklace Ait !  I didnot know about the coin dates, Thelma, good to know. Are the black beads maybe jet? They look handmade.

  • thank you all again, yes it is  a simpl but authentic piece, the coins all silver, beads all original and old.

the black ones look onyx but i think its jet

thelma, there is no ottoman coins on the necklace

  • Thanks Ait. They all look like Persian coins to me as well ... What interests me are the two table-cut glass stones amongst the coins. Are they soldered onto coins? And they both seem to be decorated with two small coin tassels ... are these authentic coins or jewellery coins?

  • Wow it is a gorgeous necklace very appealing and am sure would look great on a lovely lady!!
