Comment by Anna Garner on July 10, 2012 at 13:37 I like that name - bog amber. I agree with you. To me, the usual shiny Baltic amber nuggets are not nearly as interesting.
Comment by Frankie Carter on July 10, 2012 at 12:58 Most of these beads look rather like sea or river amber or maybe what`s sometimes called bog amber - i.e. amber with quite a lot of vegetal inclusions. So much nicer and more interesting than the usual boring modern melted and polished stuff, I think.
