this amber is not kompletly polished, it is actualy found like this in the nature. if any member needs in this direction, there is in 20 days a big fair where i meet many dealers , i can buy for any one or make contact

I like that name - bog amber.  I agree with you.  To me, the usual shiny Baltic amber nuggets are not nearly as interesting.

Most of these beads look rather like sea or river amber or maybe what`s sometimes called bog amber - i.e. amber with quite a lot of vegetal inclusions. So much nicer and more interesting than the usual boring modern melted and polished stuff, I think.

Harald, I found this on ebay when Ait Ouakli taught me that Baltic amber came in larger pieces and in a rougher form than what I see in jewelry stores.
