I'm no expert on these things,you say fake or fortune? where as I'd be saying why would someone go to the extreme & time of putting wire in a bead to mend it, if it wasnt worth a lot of money & value..one could just dispose of the bead and find another to match or make one if it was fake ..right?..is it coral or is it amber? I think it looks like coral as it has imperfections in it s texture...take it to a expert to be assessed..
