  • Frankie, here's the necklace I was referring to. Some of the beads have a white residue on them, possibly from the seller trying to clean them....I definitely need to get that residue out, and will try a gentle wash first.

  • Very nice piece
  • very nice, love it!

  • Thanks! Eva, this is very much your sort of piece :)

  • yes, in fact,it is very helpful to me, I noticed which kinds of beads one should put at the sides of the round ones, (in order to prevent that they fall forwards or backwards (don't know how to explain, but they tend to stick out from the necklace due to lack of space caused by the form). These long beads in between are just exactly what I need to get........! So thanks for the advice (by seeing your necklace), which really is wonderful! I did not buy a whole one together, because the prices for such were too high for my small budget.....

  • Cont'd:

one can also see that it is old: Wonderful, beautiful old beads. Just marvellous!!!!! Be careful when you wash it, it seems that some of the beads had been guilded, it would be a pity if some of the gold would be washed out!

  • Gorgeous beads! Congratulations Preethi!

  • Sorry, Preethi, seems to have taken me a while to get round to this. It is VERY like my own. Thank you.
