I think this could be Egyptian, Libyan or Tunisian. I don't see a hallmark on it so I decided against Libyan. But, i am not very discerning about hallmarks, either. The most lovely part of this is the silver, it is so soft and glowing, I just love to touch it. I guess this is considered a fertility amulet. Supposedly the lower parts are broken off when the woman gives birth to a son. I have seen broken ones online.I just had a man remark on the five pointed star in the middle , he was very happy to see it -- I, on the other hand, did not recognize it as a star when I first bought it. It would be nice to learn about the other symbolism in it.

Beautiful! Is this Egyptian? (just wonder, sorry, because they have this form in Libya).
