  • Nice bracelet.  The workmanship strikes me as Libya/Tunisia...what do the hallmarks look like?

  • I didn't look for hall marks because i can not see well. I will try and find some and let you know.

Could be anything i took a pot shot as it looked to be Egyptian style work but frankly I don't know.  I got it from an estate type dealer.

  • Very nice, beautiful silver patina.  Isn.t it a hall mark on the front  on the middle band?

  • This is great, the smithwork is a dream

The is egyptian and lybian bracelets that looks identic, this one, i will personay add it to west tunisia

  • There are two  hall marks in the front of two sections one above on  one side and another on the other side.  One is  a crescent and the other a shield.

  • I second Edith but from the hallmark we see on thepicture possibly with the smith's name initials in latin alphabet then it is very likely Libyan and if you say there is a shield like hallmark then it is 100% from Libya very likely made in Tripoli!!

Nice quality comparable to the old work found on very old libyan pieces (belts, head ornaments..°

  •  It is so interesting that this turned out to be from Libya. I don't think i have had anything from this region before.  I got this as an offer that was made quickly to me by someone who sold very different stuff.  It was just a fluke. It was nice for the type and it was inexpensive so i thought would be good inventory especially since it is easy to wear.

  • I have posted close ups of the stamps maybe with this you can glean more information 2506021785?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024
