Chantal. there is a place in kanyon labyrinthe called gharet ledjnun. touareg are scared to go there, guess what the tourists like  ???

thoes are tassili mountains. hoggar more direction north east from here.we spent the night in this area and just preparing ourselfs to continue to tamanrasset.50 km after this place is Arak , i was happy that we were not fahr from, it was missing me coffee and was already smelling it :-) we changed programm and car in ghardaia. the bigger one with all outdoor equipment was 10 mn before our departure ordered to go north meet tourists in Algier, they had car problems

What sort of mysterious places? Malevolent Junun in deep dark caves? or the still undiscovered mausoleum of some legendary warrior? or still buried treasures or manuscripts in clay jars?

very beautiful, it reminds me a little of the Hombouri mountains in Mali.. But the Hoggar in Algeria is much bigger.
