Great article, Sarah. Just wondering where I could get a copy of the reference images (tattoos & meanings). I'd love to read more about the Berber facial tattooing and their symbolic meaning...
PS. Do Berber men have facial tattoo's also? Or only Berber women?

Interesting article
Henna was used as medecine too, the sampls added are not all for henna painting. Thry are categorised as berber symbols but more for potry and textil.

A quiz: what was used as nadle for tatoos and thr ink ?
