These high silver armlets are beautifully worn with many repairs during their long life. A true Bedouin beauty.

These are lovely, Peter. So old and smooth that the design has almost rubbed away. They look a little like snake bracelets. I'm interested to discover whether they are hollow and whether they have pebbles inside.

Dear Thelma; Many thanks for your message. Yes, these snake (they are large, hence, I believe that they are armlets rather than bracelets) armlets are hollow and have small metal pieces inside. Did you see the repairs? I just love such pieces as they are original, old and have really been used but at the same time also been very much taken care of by the previous owner. I know that most of the collectors love perfect pieces, which however, means that they are newer or in the worst case fakes.... with kind regards. Peter

These are lovely pieces Peter. They look very much worn and repaired which means that they have been used for quite some time. Very nice to have these Peter though I remember that you have posted sometime ago some similar pieces if I am not mistaken... Thanks for sharing these fancy and rare items..
