I found these at the flea market here in Jakarta, and was very attracted to the bright yellow color and fun shape. I have seen similar ones for sale in other antique stores here in Java. Can anyone tell me more about them? I have been told that they are around 100 years old, and alternately told that they are either Chinese or Javanese.

These appear to be fairly new glass beads from Indonesia, I had blue and red ones in the past. They are made in a few sizes.
